Title: Chains Location: Schönbrunn, Vienna, Austria Lens: Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8 L USM Filter: Hoya Pro1 Digital UV
This is a shot I took a few weeks ago. These chains are actually meant to hold off people from walking on the grass in the Schönbrunn Park. Sometimes I think about how to make just normal things look interesting. Also I really love the max aperture of 2.8 from my Canon lens and the beautiful bokeh it has. It really gives you just a tiny amount of sharpness.
I figured out that a lot of people try to get as much sharp as possible, but sometimes it's good to break the rules. I even saw some totally blurred pictures that really looked good. They reminded me of paintings.
Also guys, you should try to use that thing called manual focus. It will give you a whole new way of thinking about images.
